Since she joined the team, TIU has received an honorary mention from the Gracie Awards and won a bronze medal from the New York Festival Radio Awards.

She also launched and produced CNN's award-winning daily podcast, Coronavirus: Fact vs. Fiction, which was named one of Apple’s Biggest New Shows of 2020 and described by Vulture as "thoughtfully produced" and "a tool for constant anxiety recalibration and modest reassurance."

Further back in time, Zoë was a producer for the Peabody award-winning public radio arts and culture program Studio 360, where she produced over 70 segments ranging from interviews and panel discussions to highly produced features and on-location field reporting. She also served as Senior Podcast Editor for The Story Collider, a podcast that shares true, personal stories about science, and produced episodes for Kismet, a podcast about meetings meant to be.

She has taught as a guest lecturer for SUNY Stony Brook’s Audio Podcast Fellows, CUNY Brooklyn College, and Cal State LA, and as a teaching assistant for UnionDocs’ Podcasting School.

Prior to her career in audio, Zoë worked in non-profit administration for education and arts organizations. She studied Chinese archaeology at Princeton and Oxford. She still serves on the advisory board for her alma mater’s radio station, WPRB, where she hosted a popular weekly music program for 4 years.
